The programme responds to the urgent educational needs of <strong data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"810\">internally displaced children<\/strong> who have fled the ongoing <strong data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"858\">Anglophone Crisis<\/strong> in Cameroon\u2019s two English-speaking regions.<\/p><p data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1179\">Thousands of families have been forced to leave their homes due to violence, school shutdowns and insecurity. Many have resettled in French-speaking regions of the country, including <strong data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1097\">Melong<\/strong>, where access to safe, inclusive and quality education remains extremely limited.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1184\" \/><h3 data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1230\">Context: Education Disrupted by Conflict<\/h3><p data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1368\">Since the outbreak of the Anglophone Crisis, schools in affected regions have been repeatedly attacked, occupied or closed. As a result:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1652\"><li data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1411\"><p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1411\">Children have lost years of schooling<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1459\"><p data-start=\"1414\" data-end=\"1459\">Families have been displaced multiple times<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1516\"><p data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1516\">Overcrowded host-community schools are overstretched<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1591\"><p data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1591\">Many children are learning in unsafe, temporary or informal conditions<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1652\"><p data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1652\">Trauma, poverty and instability affect learning outcomes<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1826\">In Melong, displaced children often share cramped classrooms or study in makeshift structures without adequate learning materials, trained teachers or psychosocial support.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"1831\" \/><h3 data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1912\">The Project: Melong Integrated Bilingual Nursery &amp; Primary School (MINBIPS)<\/h3><p data-start=\"1914\" data-end=\"2137\">To respond to this crisis, <strong data-start=\"1941\" data-end=\"1971\">Wirkungskreis Deutschland e.V.<\/strong>, in close collaboration with <strong data-start=\"2001\" data-end=\"2029\">Impact Circle for Nature<\/strong>, is supporting the establishment of the <strong data-start=\"2070\" data-end=\"2136\">Melong Integrierte zweisprachige Vorschule und Grundschule (MINBIPS)<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2167\">The project aims to provide:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2464\"><li data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2248\"><p data-start=\"2170\" data-end=\"2248\">Safe and inclusive learning spaces for displaced and host-community children<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2331\"><p data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2331\">Bilingual education (English and French) to support integration and continuity<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2400\"><p data-start=\"2334\" data-end=\"2400\">Access to quality teaching, learning materials and digital tools<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2464\"><p data-start=\"2403\" data-end=\"2464\">A community-driven approach that involves parents and youth<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2466\" data-end=\"2592\">The school will operate initially from a <strong data-start=\"2507\" data-end=\"2525\">temporary site<\/strong> while construction of a <strong data-start=\"2550\" data-end=\"2579\">permanent school facility<\/strong> is underway.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2594\" data-end=\"2597\" \/><h3 data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2637\">Role of Impact Circle Germany e.V.<\/h3><p data-start=\"2639\" data-end=\"2739\">Impact Circle Germany e.V. plays a <strong data-start=\"2674\" data-end=\"2717\">strategic support and coordination role<\/strong> in this programme by:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2741\" data-end=\"3133\"><li data-start=\"2741\" data-end=\"2809\"><p data-start=\"2743\" data-end=\"2809\">Mobilising financial resources from donors in Germany and the EU<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2893\"><p data-start=\"2812\" data-end=\"2893\">Facilitating partnerships with institutions, foundations and private supporters<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2894\" data-end=\"2994\"><p data-start=\"2896\" data-end=\"2994\">Supporting the funding of temporary school infrastructure, learning materials and a computer lab<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2995\" data-end=\"3067\"><p data-start=\"2997\" data-end=\"639\">Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e.V.<\/strong>in Zusammenarbeit mit Dell.<\/p><p data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"902\">Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, Kinder und Jugendliche mit dem <strong data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"785\">Chancen und Risiken der K\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz<\/strong>f\u00f6rdern <strong data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"822\">entscheidende digitale F\u00e4higkeiten<\/strong>und ermutigen <strong data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"876\">Beteiligung und Reflexion der Kinder<\/strong> \u00fcber neue Technologien.<\/p><p data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1106\">Das Projekt wird durch interaktive Workshops, Peer-Learning und eine von Kindern geleitete Abschlusspr\u00e4sentation umgesetzt.
