Empowering Migrant Women for a Just Energy Transition in Frankfurt (Oder)<\/h2>

Project Overview<\/h3>

Climate change and the transition towards a low-carbon economy present both opportunities and challenges. While the transition promises cleaner energy and more sustainable communities, many migrant households continue to face barriers to accessing information, participating in decision-making and benefiting from available support.<\/p>

The project “Empowering Migrant Women for a Just Energy Transition in Frankfurt (Oder)”<\/strong> seeks to address these challenges by strengthening the knowledge, confidence and participation of migrant women in climate action and the just energy transition.<\/p>

Objectives<\/h3>

The project aims to:<\/p>

  • Increase awareness of climate justice and the just energy transition among migrant women.<\/li>
  • Improve understanding of energy efficiency, sustainable housing and available support services.<\/li>
  • Strengthen women’s leadership and participation in community climate action.<\/li>
  • Promote dialogue between migrant communities, local authorities and relevant stakeholders.<\/li>
  • Build stronger connections between climate justice, gender equality and social inclusion.<\/li><\/ul>

    Activities<\/h3>

    During the project we will organise:<\/p>

    • Community workshops<\/li>
    • Information sessions<\/li>
    • Awareness campaigns<\/li>
    • Dialogue events<\/li>
    • Community networking activities<\/li>
    • Advocacy and knowledge-sharing initiatives<\/li><\/ul>

      Expected Impact<\/h3>

      The project will contribute to:<\/p>
