Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass Wirkungskreis Deutschland e.V. has been awarded funding by the European Union under the Funding Fairer Futures initiative through the Feminist Climate Action Fund, coordinated by Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF).

Our new project, “Empowering Migrant Women for a Just Energy Transition in Frankfurt (Oder),” will strengthen the participation of migrant women in climate action while addressing the social challenges associated with rising energy costs and the transition to a more sustainable future.

Running from June 2026 to May 2027, the project will create opportunities for learning, dialogue and community engagement around climate justice, energy efficiency, sustainable housing and social inclusion. Through workshops, awareness campaigns and community-led activities, migrant women will be supported to become informed participants and advocates for a fair and inclusive energy transition.

Climate justice cannot be achieved unless everyone has the opportunity to participate. By working closely with migrant communities, local stakeholders and partner organisations, we aim to ensure that the benefits of the energy transition are shared more equitably and that no one is left behind.

We are grateful to the European Union, the Funding Fairer Futures initiative and Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) for supporting this important initiative.
