Wix.com Germany GmbH Donates Major IT Equipment to Support Digital Inclusion in Cameroon

Impact Circle Germany e.V. is proud to announce the successful collection of a significant donation of IT equipment from Wix.com Germany GmbH, marking the largest corporate in-kind contribution received by our organisation since its establishment.
The donation forms part of our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme, which promotes the responsible reuse of technology to expand digital access for schools, community organisations, and non-profit initiatives in Cameroon.
What Was Donated?
The donation includes:
- 37 computer monitors
- 10 docking stations
- Power cables, HDMI cables and other accessories
All equipment is in very good working condition and will be prepared for shipment to Cameroon, where it will be deployed to strengthen digital learning environments and improve access to information and communication technology.
Why This Matters
Across many communities in Cameroon, access to reliable ICT equipment remains a major challenge for schools, community organisations and development initiatives.
Through Technik für den Wandel, we give quality technology a second life by connecting companies with communities where these resources can continue creating value.

Impact Circle Germany e.V. launches EU-funded project to empower migrant women for a just energy transition
Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass Wirkungskreis Deutschland e.V. has been awarded funding by the European Union under the Funding Fairer Futures initiative through the Feminist Climate Action Fund, coordinated by Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF).
Our new project, “Empowering Migrant Women for a Just Energy Transition in Frankfurt (Oder),” will strengthen the participation of migrant women in climate action while addressing the social challenges associated with rising energy costs and the transition to a more sustainable future.
Running from June 2026 to May 2027, the project will create opportunities for learning, dialogue and community engagement around climate justice, energy efficiency, sustainable housing and social inclusion. Through workshops, awareness campaigns and community-led activities, migrant women will be supported to become informed participants and advocates for a fair and inclusive energy transition.
Climate justice cannot be achieved unless everyone has the opportunity to participate. By working closely with migrant communities, local stakeholders and partner organisations, we aim to ensure that the benefits of the energy transition are shared more equitably and that no one is left behind.
We are grateful to the European Union, the Funding Fairer Futures initiative and Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) for supporting this important initiative.

The Economist Supports Digital Inclusion in Cameroon Through IT Equipment Donation

Impact Circle Germany e.V. is pleased to announce the successful collection of a generous donation of IT equipment from The Economist‘s Berlin office in support of our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme.
The donation was made possible through the support of Eben Antwi from The Economist’s London office and coordinated locally by Cornelia Günther, Bureau Manager of the Berlin office.

The donated equipment includes:
- 3 Dell OptiPlex 5050 desktop computers
- 2 Dell P2719H monitors
- 1 Dell Latitude 5410 laptop with charger
- Logitech Z120 speakers
- Power and display cables
The estimated value of the donation is €678.
Supporting Tech for Change
The equipment will strengthen our Technik für den Wandel project, which collects and redistributes quality IT equipment from Germany to schools, community organisations, and non-profit partners in Cameroon.
By extending the life of functional technology, the project promotes both digital inclusion and environmental sustainability through the responsible reuse of electronic equipment.
The donated computers and laptop will help improve digital access for our partner organisation and support educational and community development activities.

Individual Donor Gives ASUS Laptop a Second Life Through Tech for Change
3 February 2026 | Hamburg, Germany
Impact Circle Germany e.V. is pleased to announce the generous donation of a fully functional ASUS laptop by Frank Düchting in support of our Technik für den Wandel project.
Before donating the device, Mr. Düchting securely erased all personal data, reset the laptop, and included the original power adapter and a protective carrying case.

Viktoria Scheffler Strengthens Tech for Change with Two Laptop Donations

Impact Circle Germany e.V. is delighted to recognise the generous support of Viktoria Scheffler, who donated two laptops to our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme.
Originally contacting our organisation to donate a fully functional Lenovo laptop, Viktoria later made an additional contribution by donating a high-performance Schenker XMG A517 gaming laptop, significantly expanding the impact of her support.

A24 Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH Donates Desktop Computers and Monitors to Support Digital Inclusion

Impact Circle Germany e.V. is pleased to announce the successful collection of IT equipment generously donated by A24 Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH, a landscape architecture firm based in Berlin.
The donation supports our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme, which promotes the responsible reuse of technology to strengthen education, community organisations, and non-profit initiatives in Cameroon.
Equipment Donated
The donation includes:
- 8 Dell desktop computers
- 8 computer monitors
Condition: Used and suitable for refurbishment and reuse.
As part of the company’s data protection procedures, the hard drives had been removed from the desktop computers before collection, ensuring that all previous data remained secure.
Supporting Digital Inclusion
Access to reliable computers remains a significant challenge for many schools and community organisations in Cameroon. Through Technik für den Wandel, donated technology is given a second life by equipping organisations that otherwise have limited access to digital resources.
Following inventory, refurbishment where necessary, and installation of new storage devices, the computers will be prepared for deployment through our partner organisation in Cameroon.

Corporate Partnership Announcement International Rescue Committee Germany Donates HP Printers to Support Tech for Change
December 2025 – January 2026 | Berlin, Germany
Impact Circle Germany e.V. is grateful to International Rescue Committee (IRC) Deutschland gGmbH for donating office equipment in support of our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme.
The donation was coordinated by Farah Almohamad, Senior Operations Officer, Facility and Asset Coordination, who contacted our organisation before the printers were scheduled for disposal to explore whether they could continue serving a meaningful purpose.
Giving Technology a Second Life
Rather than disposing of functional office equipment, IRC Germany chose to support our mission of expanding digital access by making the printers available for reuse.
Following shipment, two printers were successfully delivered to Impact Circle Germany e.V.:

The printers were received before the Christmas holidays and added to our growing inventory of technology resources for future deployment.
An Example of Responsible Reuse
A third printer was originally intended for donation but was returned to IRC Germany during transit. Due to additional shipping costs, it could not be resent at that time. IRC Germany kindly indicated that, should more printers become available in the future, they would consider including the third printer in a future shipment.
This reflects a practical and sustainable approach to resource management and highlights the importance of ongoing partnerships.

NavVis GmbH Donates 120 SanDisk MicroSD Cards to Support Digital Inclusion in Cameroon

Impact Circle Germany e.V. is pleased to announce the successful donation of 120 SanDisk 64GB microSD cards from NavVis GmbH, a leading provider of digital reality and spatial computing solutions headquartered in Munich, Germany.
The donation supports our Technik für den Wandel project under the Digital Inclusion Programme, which promotes equitable access to technology by mobilising quality IT equipment and digital resources for schools, community organisations and non-profit initiatives in Cameroon.
The donation consists of:
- 120 SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSD cards
- Compatible adapters for selected cards
- New, unopened retail packaging
These high-capacity memory cards will be used to expand digital storage for smartphones, tablets, cameras and other devices supporting education, project implementation and community development activities.
